Clint Quest

Hey, I'm new to the game and I'm just tripping up a bit. I took a billboard quest to bring Clint 15 copper so I went, got the copper and returned. I can't seem to give it to him though. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to mine 15 copper, not grab it from a chest. You can cheat this by throwing them out of your inventory one by one.

Oh I did use the mine

You have to mine the copper after you have gotten the quest, so copper you already had wouldnt count as progress towards it.

One way to trick the bug is to pull the copper ore out of your chest piece by piece (using right click). Also, keep an eye on the quest in your journal, I've sometimes the time limit will pass without me realizing.

Since no one bothered to ask, are you walking behind the counter and trying to give it to him like a gift or just talking to him from the counter. You have to "gift" him the copper for it to work.

It was actually mined afterwards but thanks for letting me know

If you have copper on one of your chest just take it one by one and then talk with Clint behind of the counter, you don't need to give it to him, even if you don't have the cooper in your inventory it counts.
