Fastest Way to Get Rid of Trees?

What is the absolute fastest or easiest way to get rid of trees? My farm is FILLED with them and the bottom half of my farm is like a forest. I can barely walk anywhere!

Buy mega bombs from the dwarf. It takes one blast to reduce a tree to a stump, and another to remove the stumps.

If you're near winter, wait until then and blow the trees up. The lack of growth really helps you keep on top of clearing. I used my axe to get a couple of simple paths in my tree cluster and then expanded from there for optimal bomb placement. If you build paths and plant sprinklers/scarecrows in the winter, you can really control where new plants pop up in the spring.

Yea I spent all winter doing that my 2nd year. I had no idea I could just blow them up. Definitely going to do that from now on.

If you upgrade your axe, you can also cut them down in 3 hits
