Im trying to get a large milk for the animal bundle but its been 2 seasons and ive only been getting regular milk. Is there any way to increase the odds of me getting a large milk?

Have you been petting them daily and got hay in stock for them to eat?

The more hearts they have, the higher the chance for large milk there is.

Yes. I was giving him real grass instead of hay for a while, but then she ate it all. I have been petting him, but no luck. I'm at 1 heart friendship with her.

Grass or hay, both works.

Have you been closing the gate after night?

If it's winter, buy them a radiator/heater from Marney.

Let them out to graze in the mornings, they get happier when eating grass over hay.

Close the door to the barn at night, it makes them nervous or something. And pet them everyday. Still, once a cow has full hearts, a large milk isn't guaranteed. But aim for 3+ hearts before complaining.

(Click a cow once to pet it, and again to check its hearts.)

no. I keep it open. Does that affect much?

Keeping the door open at night can cause them to become sad, and the same goes for not feeding them.

The person above gave some good stuff.

Ok. I get it now. I also reached lvl 10 farming during the conversation and got the shepard perk so that will help.

Animals won't increase eachother's happiness.

Not sure if you been doing so already but check the traveling merchant every friday/sunday when you can. Merchant can sometimes have the large versions of the milks you need, normal eggs too.

I know that. I have been checking but no luck so far.

Honestly, grazing outdoors is overrated, especially if you plan big chains of events to do during the day (like heavy mining or socializing). I have two cows in a large barn and they haven't seen the light of day in almost 2 years. Pet and milking everyday with hay from the feeder. 5 hearts for both of them.

The happier your cow is (the more hearts you have with it) the higher your chance of recieving a large milk becomes.

This is weird because I also had the same problem. I eventually got mine from the kart witch.

edit: Anyone knows if theres a way to breed them? I've never attempted it or known how.
