Spouse keeps going missing?
I married Alex about two weeks ago. I have kept him at full hearts, talking to him everyday throughout the day, bringing him gifts everyday, even got a stardrop. Yet twice now he has gone missing. I'll wake up and he won't be in the kitchen or outside the house. I'll go to all his summer spots (it's summer in my game) and he won't be there. Then the next day he comes back and everything is fine. Has this happened to anyone else?

Your spouse will leave the house twice a week- Alex in particular goes to visit his grandparents. He'll stand in their kitchen until he goes home.

Oh, that's what Alex does? That's adorable!
Elliot goes to visit his Beach shack sometimes.

I'm not sure if that is what's happening because he has visited them before, and when he did he told me that he was going into town. When he goes missing he isn't at his grandparents house and isn't there first thing in the morning.

He's probably floating off screen in the black area beyond the rooms of your house. Yes it actually does happen and its a bug. If you up the resolution where you can see a lot of space you'll probalby see him floating out there.

I've seen my cat, baby and spouse floating out there many times now.

Perhaps he is playing hide and seek and is waiting for you to find him?

Once you're married to someone I don't think their hearts go down if you stop talking to them or gifting them things. At least that's how it used to be, not sure if they changed it. But if you're at 10 hearts (full) then you don't need to talk or gift them anything anymore.

How funny would that be if it actually happened. Don't talk to them or don't gift them anything. Their hearts go down and after a while, they demand a divorce. Oh boy! But seriously, yeah. I think there is a thing about hearts not going down if you reach to a certain point.
