Nah chief, if your wife cheated on you and you stay with her. I can't respect that. Especially if she's still getting clapped.

It's one thing if you can't respect it, but why take it out on the business? That just seems incredibly dumb to be honest. Besides, Pierre is not so innocent himself... Him and Caroline might be cheating with the same person ;>

Uh ... okay?

I mean ... sure, Pierre and Caroline do have a dysfunctional relationship but ... that's the Peyton Place aspect of SDV: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peyton_Place_(TV_series)

(Or Twin Peaks if you prefer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twin_Peaks )

It looks nice on the surface, but if you dig down, there's a lot of dysfunctional stuff going on. As I've said elsewhere, games are a set of problems waiting for a player character to get involved. And yes, in this case, your options for getting involved and actually rendering a "solution" are rather limited (much more limited than they'd be in real life), but it is still a mystery of sorts to explore.

Nobody's perfect. Cutting yourself off from a major set of resources seems a bit silly.

Lmao, she literally left the mans house recently. He might be cheatin but looking at Pierre, don't seem, like he gets a lot of options with his cheap ass.

Dude wife getting clapped bye a dude in a wizard costume, doesn't get any rough than that. It's not even his kid. Even in the game I gotta hold up the standard. It Might be a little tight getting seeds. Gotta pickle and wine a couple of fruits but sandy and jojo got me. Its the roll I gotta play.

lol okay. I was just thinking there is no need for you to suffer just because they can't hold their marriage together properly. But I guess it's not a huge deal after a certain point in game (and especially not if you went with the Joja route). :brownchicken:

Oh I definitely didn't go Jojo route I'm kicking his ass out soon as I get the community center finished. I want the Theater. Already got seeds in the back of the barn getting bootlegged.

You can get the movie theater in both CC and Joja route, but with Joja route you pay cash for it... And quite a lot of it. Also, make sure to stock up on some tree saplings, if you want/need fruit trees. They can be a bit tricky to obtain outside of Pierre's.

A lot of assumption there based on fan theories. I've always fallen in the smaller camp that a lot of the evidence supports Caroline being the daughter, Abigail his granddaughter. It's pretty open to interpretation.

I was hoping so but the Wizard looks a little to young to be a grandfather.

I don't think he does; and frankly if we go by usual fantasy wizard rules, those fellas have a tendency to be long lived anyway.

Think of it this way: Caroline will say that she often visited the tower when they first moved in to town. She says this to the farmer... a relative stranger. That isn't usually something that you say to someone if you want to keep secret what you were doing in the tower.
Abigail also wanders over to the tower, hanging out front of it.
Seemingly both feel drawn to the place.

Both Abigail and Caroline have an apparent aversion to traditional religion in their world. On Sundays they hide out so that they don't have to talk to any of those who are visiting the altar in the Shop. Caroline even says that it wasn't something that they built: that the previous owners had set it up. She has little interest in it, nor does Abigail.

Both like their solitude: Abigail with her wanderings, Caroline with her sanctuary (she calls it that, at least)... which is as close to a parallel to the wizard's tower as you can get without Caroline having straight up built a tower.
Also, regarding her sanctuary/tea room, she likes her solitude in the her sanctuary. Much like Razmodius brews potions, Caroline engages in brewing of her own and has a natural aptitude for it.

Caroline doesn't seem to understand why Abigail is so interested in the occult. If she had an affair with Razmodius that resulted in a pregnancy, I would expect that she would 100% understand why Abigail has that interest. I suspect that Abigail is just more aware of her interests, whereas Caroline isn't quite so aware of how her interests parallel that of the wizard.

On a more domestic front, and less related to the similarities to Abigail and the Wizard, she seems to love Pierre. She states that she wants to spend more time with him on multiple occasions, cries when the store is open seven days a week, comments on how romantic the lights are during the Moonlight Jellies event while standing as close as she can to her husband. Not typical of someone who has fallen OUT of love.

That's what gets me. She made no attempts of mentioning her father, and if it's casual why isn't it blatant. Especially after the Heart events. Is she ashamed of the wizard, we don't get much information on that. With Lewis, after a few event you find out he's clapping Marnies cheeks while possibly fathering her kids. There could've at least be a mention of a clear possibility of The Wizard being the father of Caroline like we get of the relationship of everyone else. But there's no clear confirmation on that.

Another Issue is that the genetics don't match up. If he was the father of Caroline why is her hair green while Abigail hair is purple. There's something that's not adding up.

Green hair is pretty atypical to begin with, and could well just be genetics from the wizard's family. That kinda leans into "not entirely standard human" for Caroline.

Also worth noting that Caroline may have no idea who is her biological father. Could have been a single mother scenario, adoption, her mother having had an affair. Frankly that requires a bit more guesswork than I'm willing to apply, here.

In any case, I just feel like Caroline being the Wizard's daughter carries more weight than Abigail. There are too many holes in the Abigail theory, and would require Caroline to have forgotten her own affair in order for it to work, and to be weirdly trusting of the new Farmer.
