Or did you try switching back to the compatibility version of 32bit on the Beta page??

In your Steam Library, right click on Stardew Valley
Select "Properties"
Click on the "Betas" tab
Click on the drop down menu, and pick "Compatibility"
Your game should update itself and you can try compatibility mode when it is done.
you wont be able to run the newer 64bit version of SV
You will need to switch back to 32bit Beta version like Chrilbill explained above and never use mods, your pc cant handle the game with mods.
I had an acer 4GB and the game constantly crashed, I had to get a new pc, HP 16GB Ram.
Even Walmart wont sell Acer any more here.
