How do you get the side room renovation?

When looking up some home interior ideas, I've seen a few times where people would have a very small side room addition next to the bedroom (or where the bedroom would be by default if you never moved it.)

I have the 3 upstairs room, basement, and like a lower room below (sort of a den), but usually I see people with a small side room to the far right.

I don't see the option to include this. The only new addition I have (if you can call it that) is opening up the bedroom.

I married my online friend... Still no option. I guess it's 'cuz they get their own lil house?
