Trees Randomly Getting Knocked Down
So I thought thunderstorms were occasionally costing me trees (growing some for a sap farm), but one fell down in the morning after a storm with no lightning involved that I could see.

Do trees just randomly fall down now?

You mention "but one fell down in the morning after a storm" and that can indeed happen if you go outside the day after a storm. You can both hear and possibly see the animation of the tree falling down after being struck during the storm. Not sure if this was intended but it has happened a few times for me; Comes out in the morning after a storm and hear the cracking sound of a tree falling. :brownchicken:

Dont think so.
Maybe it was in the path of a villager ?
Is there a tree stomp or is the tree totally gone ?

I guess that's what it was. Very annoying.

No, this is on the farm itself. No villagers at all. A stump was left.

I will just transpose this from a thread I made earlier since this seems to be the place where the cool kids hang out. It tells of a similar situation.

I have lots of mods, SDVExpanded and all its requirement. Playing on Grandpa's Farm Map (The one you have to Download on SDVExp Page).

I mean, it was the night of the day I got the Strange Sound (full day spent). It was Thunderstorming (I had cleared my Lightning Rods that morning) I was out all night waiting for Morgan the Apprentice to come back to the Wizard Tower so I could give him his birthday gift, he never did. I warped back and my 5 sap trees (Oak, Pine and 3 Maples) just flew apart (lost 5 Sap Taps). I ain't going to get them going again this year, its 2nd week of Fall. My luck was ok for that day.

I didn't want to replay the day as I had completed several 10 star events.

Just curious if stuff like that just happens. Last time I had a sap tree go it left a stump and it was only one of five.
