And the only thing, which is changed by having a cabin placed down is, that the save file will show up in the coop menu.
Every coop specific game changer (like time not stopping while doing specific things or regenerating energy while lying in bed) will only occour, when you start the game in coop, but it will be a regular singleplayer game, when you just load it without the coop menu
Anything related to the savefile owner will stay untouched
Getting rid of a cabin will delete the player, which is associated with it, including all skill levels and friendships (so if they marry someone, then this character will return to their usual schedule again). If you place another cabin down later, then they need to create a new character again.
