What happens if I am pregnant and divorce my spouse?
I have the problem that I really want to divorce Sebastian to marry Sam, but I don't want to lose Sebastian's Baby that I am pregnant with right now and I fear that it won't be born if I divorce him.

Yeah, that's how it works. You divorce the person who you're having a baby with, and the guy just... YOINK... Takes it! you are not the only one! This happens to me ALL the time.

You've to wait for the baby to be born, before divorcing with Sebastian, if you want to have that baby.

You do understand that there is no child support in the game, right?
The child's upkeep will be fully on you.

But now I am curious. If you have Sebastian's child and then marry Sam, will Sam adopt the child as his, biologically?

no adoption as far as i know, and no matter how many spouses and how many children you have, your spouse never does anything with the children anyway. Your spouse may make you breakfast, feed the pets and barn animals, but they never mention or take care of the children. ...... we need a mod for that ..... some smart person out there ?????

I have wondered about that... I see Penny walking around town with Jaz, Vincent and Leo. But she left the kids at home with ponds full of poisonous fish, void mayonnaise in he fridge and a cellar full of wine? Not to mention the slime hutch... It's surprising my kids have survived this long.

Well, what did you expect? It's how it works in real life too, so of course it'd work the same way in a video game. :corncob:

It doesn't have any downsides for female players though. You can work normal until it pops into existence at some point.
