Multiplayer not working | NO INVITE CODE / INVITE FRIEND OPTION | Only Start Local Co-op

I just bought this game and i am trying to play the game with my girlfriend, although i am not able to invite her or join her farm. When she invites me via steam and click accept nothing happens. I am also only able to invite her steam via remote play but that also doesn't do anything. I cant generate a code for her to use or invite her via steam. The only Multiplayer option there is is Start Local Co-Op, I was very excited to play this game with her but my hype is slowly dying down. I have tried multiple fixes but it doesn't do anything.

When i go to Co-op it only shows LAN option

I am running on Windows 11..

hey there,

i see you're using this game on windows 11 meanwhile i'm using windows 10, i'm sure there's no difference; i'll try to help and make this clear as possible:

1) if you want to host a farm/game, go to "Co-Op" and go to "Host"
2) click on "Host New Farm" and create a (new) co-op/multiplayer map
3) once you're done with the previous steps, you mess around with the game settings of what kind of farm you want, make a character and etc (basic game settings)
4) you appear in game and if you are on PC/laptop, you click on "e" and go to "options" (the icon looks like a console/joystick)
5) scroll down and you'll see 2 options how to invite someone, either "view code" or "invite a friend"; i play this game with my partner in a distance (not LAN) so i can sort of relate and understand your problem, personally i send him both optons: the code and an invite. your girlfriend can try both too


now for the person who joins,
1) go to "co-op" and click on "enter invite code"
2) copy paste (or manually type) the code and join :)
(or you'll receive an invite from the host)

that's all, make sure that the host and the person who joins both have good/stable connection or else the person might game-quit because of it

For joining a farm there is no "enter invite code" option only Join LAN

Hello, were you able to fix it? I have same problem, the setting for invite friend, or enter invite code (except for LAN) is not showing up... went to search online and followed all the steps on official page but nothing worked ): . Im running it on windows 11 and he is on windows 10 we both have the same problem tho.

Whatever anyone says, there is no current fix, the GOG servers are under maintenance for 3 more hours.
