Way to get a lot of oak resin?

I want to make a lot of kegs, but i lack the resin for it. Way to get oak resin fast?

I can't find any. Through the whole map i found like 4 or 5 of them

Plant them with acorn :D seeds. There is no other way (except if you cheat)

It needs 8 blocks around it to be completely empty, and also, i dont have space because I've covered my farm in tiles, buildings and whatnot, didn't expect that i'll need resin fast

No Oak doenst need 8 tiles, I have it like this: Tree Space Tree Space and so on.

Yes it does, but they can share the empty blocks.

then you cant have kegs if youre not willing to make space? there are no magical tricks.

Go down to Cindertap forest - down to the bit that leads you to the sewer, straight down from Marnie's farm. You'll find oak and maple trees there - you can tap them. If you find them anywhere else outwith your farm you can tap them. I've been doing it all the time as I clear my farm of trees. Hope this helps.

You don't need a lot of space to plant trees for tapping. I planted my trees north of the small pond. I have 8 oaks, 4 pines and 4 maples arranged in a 4x4 grid with 1 tile of space. I am in fall of year 2 now with a shed full of kegs, 67 of them, and I still have 40 something oak resins.

im new but can u place them on the trees near the wizard guy? i ran out of trees to cut down on my farm and noticed i could cut the the trees near him. maybe u can plant non fruit tree seeds there and place a trapper on them?
