Different fashion wears for player
It would be nice if my main character could change different type of clothings or accessories such as shorts or sunglasses or beautiful winter wears...etc for different occasions. I find it boring that the main character wears the same everyday. New clothings can be bought from the village's shops or passing merchant or online shopping using the computer in the player's house in the game of course if provided.

The latest "Harvest Moon" or "Story of seasons" game is giving options to players to choose the type of clothings to wear. Perhaps it can be added into Stardew Valley or its sequel?

You can also buy different hats and hair accessories from the mouse in the old shack south of the wizard's tower. The selection available increases over time.

It would be nice if your character dressed properly for certain events. like the flower dance.

Yeah, what they mean is that during certain seasons, or holidays, your clothes changed, not having to do it manually. Like in Winter, you got a Santa outfit to go with the Santa hat the mouse sells. Or in Summer, you got to wear swim trunks.

It would also be great if you wore something at least formal to your wedding

This and can we also discuss why the hell the character does not wear a wedding dress on their wedding? :steamsad: It would be cool if you could choose to wear either a tux or a dress in the beginning of the game for both weddings and dances.

Instead of travelling to the wizard's basement to change clothings, the game could have its own wardrobe/s at home where clothings can be stored. Example like GTA 4 or GTA 5 where main character/s can customise what they wear on certain events.

HM: Animal Parade was like that as well. =) It felt like I could dress for any occasion. When you had children in that game you could also customize what they would wear as well.
...I believe Tree of Tranquility was as well, but I can't remember.

Actually, each achievement unlocks a new "hat"; which is why the mouse appears only after you've completed your first achievement.
