What to do with old weapons?

I keep geting bad weapons from the mine, is there any way to get rid of them?

I know they can't be put in the shipping bin, so you should see if you can sell them to Marlon. I can't remember if you can. Other than that, there isn't a way to make profit off of them.

Early game, that stuff is surprisingly decent money. Forest sword and lead rods sell for around 150-250 each. Pretty decent loot.

ok thanks, I though that you couldn't sell swords to the guild because i couldn't sell my starter sword

only some swords cannot be sold there. i just like to heard one of each and sell the rest. maybe cause i like the idea of my spouse ever in need of grea it's ready

I just trash it because I find it irritating that you cant bin them. At least all the other crap you get you can bin them at the end of the day. Weapons and armor you have to go to the guild to sell them. I usually empty my bags out every night, but I stay up till 1am and the guild closes at 10pm. I also cant even visit them in the morning to empty my stuff cuz they open in the afternoon. The schedule just doesnt mesh with my routine.

For the amt of cash you get for it, it is not worth it. Maybe when your starting out, sure, but at my pt I get consistent income coming in that I hardly care for the little amt it gives me. It is basically worth as much as a slime to me at this pt.

Yeah, same here, I don't bother selling weapons. The guild just has inconvienent hours and it's not a lot of money.

I crate them up then periodically make a trip to the guild. I suppose if you're adventuring all day, every day, you can get enough weapons/armour to muck up your storage, but if you have enough to muck up your storage, you have enough that selling them isn't a waste of time.

Also of note: you can place chests in any location that isn't seasonal, like the mine entrance or inside the adventurers' guild. You can stash things there then make a quick side-trip for sales. I use this when I have more geodes to process than I have slots for the results.
