Removing Bushes from Forest Farm?

Is there any way to get rid of these bushes?

I can get rid of the trees fine but nothing seems to work on the bushes.

Upgrade your ax to a better one.

I think you need Silver or Gold to remove those. I forgot to personally test my Silver Axe before upgrading it to know for sure which upgrade is required.

I have heard that you can chop them down, but i believe you need a more upgraded ax.

Okay what? Are you guys trolling or something cause I still cant remove the bushes and I have the Steel Axe(Which I assume is what you mean by silver)

You can only remove the bushes that are exclusive to the forest/riverland farms. All the rest are uninteractable terrain.

No chopping down bushes in the forest, or even the ones next to your shipping bin in the corner (even in forest farm).

Which bushes are you trying to chop down, exactly? The bushes directly southeast of the house, north of the pond, those can be chopped, for example.

The ones northeast of the shipping bin and, I assume, at the cave entrance, cannot be chopped down.

The only other explanation would be you have a mod breaking it, or you don't have version 1.11. Try updating your game.

Oops, it seems I had set my game to not update so i could play my mmo... I'll get it updated... I feel so stupid right now

I was playin on 1.1, the update that allows you to break bushes is 1.11
