Tracker / Botanist quality for a Truffle Farmer?
i have a pig farm so i went for the "double foraged items" so i can get 2 truffles instead of 1, but the higher quality truffles dont seem to matter since i turn it into truffle oil and sell it with the "Artisan Goods" perk, should i respec tracker or is there other reasons to have like iridium coconuts and mushrooms n stuff lol

around 20 pigs at this point with 2 deluxe barns, and i honestly cant figure out if tracker would be better to keep on eye on my truffles since my gated farm is literally half of my "home area"

And since fruit gets turned into wines aswell i dont see the point of having these items be high quality since u just turn them into another item and it loses that quality level.

With the iridium quality gurantee you don't really get much benefit from processing the truffles into oil (only a 250g increase), but if you're already accustomed to processing en bulk I'd just go with Tracker so you don't miss anything lying around. Your pigs will dig up higher quality truffles the older they get anyways.

What a lot of people do is sell gold/silver star stuff and process the normal no-star stuff.

Iridium star is good for selling base materials, or for gifting. For example, Haley would like an iridium star coconut more than a silver star one.

the problem here is the whole artisan goods and the perk. it just needs REWORKING.

it covers far too much, and the boost is ridiculous. case right here, it invalidates most skills and their bonuses.

your iridium truffles will be turned to oil so it wont matter, then slap the 40% increase in value from the perk on the already high value of its artisan good.
