Definitely keeping this game on my wishlist.
The "charm" of the graphics is a big draw for me with these old-fashioned (intentionally) pixelated games. Games like SDV and Starbound make the grade for me visually, but lots don't.
Personally I think the graphics are perfect. They are meant to imitate the art style of the original Harvest Moon and as far as that is concerned the dev really nailed it.

The character prites and such are very simple and not-so detailed, while things like trees and grass are highly detailed. It's not a good contrast and personally it makes it hard to look at, but that's just me and my sensory overload issues.
Fair enough. It looks fine to me and I don't see any real issue between sprites and the world but different strokes for different folks and all that.
