Giving Clint ores
When Clint posts an ad for wanting "X" amount of copper ores, how the hell do you give them to him? I've tried doing this before, but I can't seem to get it right.

Go behind his counter, but don't have it in your hand. It might accidentally count as a gift (And I believe he dislikes it). When you gather them (or pick them up from your chests), and just talk to him.

As I recall, you need the EXACT amount he requests, and they have to be "newly obtained", by which I mean you can't have them in your inventory already when you accept the quest.

you actually dont need to have ores at all just grab enough ores until your guest fills to 15/15 (example) then you dont even need to have them in inventory just go talk with him

You don't need to have them with you, and they don't even need to be new. Take them out of your chest one at a time, until you've hit the number it asks for, then just put them back and you can go talk to him.

He actually has two types of quests, only one of which require that they be freshly mined. The one that says he wants to check them for gemstones inside, you can just pull saved ore out of your chests at home for. When he specifically asks you to "mine" them, that's when you have to get them on a "new" basis.

Both quests require you only to TALK to Clint with them in your inventory; don't give them to him.
