marriage question about 3 days leading up

hey so I know it's 3 days between proposal & the wedding but what im not clear on is how the 3 days are counted?

example being like if I propose on the 28th of the season would it count it as one of the 3 days (28th, 1st, 2nd) so the ceremony would be on the 2nd? Or would it be: propose on the 28th and it counts it 1st, 2nd, 3rd so its on the 3Rd of the new season?

Asking bc i was gonna do the proposal on the 28th but I'm really busy planting/cleaning up the first day & 1/2 of the new season & so I didn't want to have the marriage on the 2nd

It's the latter, so if you would propose on the 28th, the wedding would be on the 3rd.
