Do we have to write the surname?
My character's name is Tom Buffay, but I don't see any npcs have any surnames showing. I want to be equal with them. If the npcs don't show their surnames / only have first name, why would they call me full name like "Hello, Tom Buffay"? Why would I write the surname?

I want it to be perfect, they and I must be the same, nothing is different at all.

No, you don't need a surname. None of my characters have one.

Go into your save file, and simply ctrl + f to find all instances of the name, and replace it.
