Abigail 99% useless after marriage

3/7 she goes to town to stretch her legs, 4/7 she just wanders around the house. I've been married to her for half a year, and I think she watered my crops once. She definitely wasn't this useless pre-1.1, anyone else having similar problems?

Um. All other marriage npcs do the exact same thing... They are not there to be useful. Plus if you need her to water your crops, you seriously need sprinklers fast. You should not even rely on your partner for that. But yeah, don't expect too much from them, they exist to be pretty.

I had roughly 30 hours of married Stardew game play before the patch with Abigail, and she watered my crops, fed my animals, or fixed my fences at least 3/7 days every week.

And I'm too lazy to set up sprinklers. My greenhouse is full of ancient fruit and after turning it to wine its ~1mil a month. I'm set, its just annoying.

Yeah, I already have ancient fruit set as well but still. If you don't have sprinklers and you think your wife should do the watering work for you, you're not doing this right. You might as well just give up on farming other than greenhouse, make that million every month and relax. :)

At this point, I just got iridium sprinklers set on floor tile on my field and nothing will ever move them. Only thing I do is plant and "watch". It's not exactly efforts. They don't need maintenance.

I belive that I have noticed the spouse helping out less post 1.1 patch, but I agree that it is not something you should be relying on.

the more you keep them happy the more they suppose to do, but they dont do much. I married shane and he often cooks and gives me pizza which is great I can just give it back to him in the morning as he loves pizza but no spouse really does anything
