When the evening is spread out against the sky
Like a patient etherized upon a table;
Let us go, through certain half-deserted streets,
The muttering retreats
Of restless nights in one-night cheap hotels
And sawdust restaurants with oyster-shells:
Streets that follow like a tedious argument
Of insidious intent
To lead you to an overwhelming question ...
Oh, do not ask, “What is it?”
Let us go and make our visit.
I would have thought a better offering would have been:
O! Oysters, come and walk with us!
The Walrus did beseech.
We'll walk and talk
and talk and walk
along the briny beach!
Given that the beach is likely to cough up some oysters anyway, your best bet is taking a stroll along the shorline (including the rock pools) when you go to check the traps, particularly in Summer during crab mating season.
However ...
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think that they will sing to me.
What have you done to annoy the RNG that much? Oysters are a kind-of rare shell, but they're not season limited or anything...
I guess you can either spam crab pots to maximise your changes, or try burning some sage to remove whatever curse you've called down upon yourself.
