What's your favorite part of Stardew Valley?

Im new to the community and wanna hear what you guys like the MOST about the game.

What do you HATE about the game?

(I love the community center goals, and I HATE how fast the days go by)

For me, it's the casual gameplay of what you decide to do for that day, while taking your time. I can't handle games that do deadlines for certain things, so I try to do those first on the list.. but it gets very frustrating for me.

I love socializing with the townspeople (Haley, Alex and Abigail are my favs). When you get hearts with the citizens, they can send you recipes for different food, which gives you energy and health for the mines, and buffs for other skills. Getting 2 hearts, 4, 6, and 8 will trigger an event for people with (single) by their name.

I like it because it's perfect for when you are in a laid back mood. Just Cause or Saints Row are great but not ideal when I am super relaxed.

The social aspect of the game as well as fishing. For me it's fun and easy so I spend quite a lot of time doing it.

Oooh, I love making a profitable but still attractive farm that caters for everybody. My winter farm is all prettied up and ready to recieve hundreds of Strawberries while the greenhouse readies itself for coffee. Ancient Fruits? What are those when they're at home?

My favorite thing is building up the farm -- expanding fields, getting the bundles, setting up pickling operations and beehouses, etc., watching it grow.

My second favorite thing is watching middle-schoolers rage about there being no multiplayer. They are so cute trying to convince people they actually have real world friends to play with.

My least favorite things are going to the mines and fishing. I tend to develop my farm with a minimum of those activities. I just buy copper and iron and gold from Clint.

I loved mining. I love the randomly-generated levels, the feeling of discovery and reward when getting to a checkpoint, testing out new weapons, and of course getting rich from selling all those geodes.
