Can I add RSV to an existing save?
Yes, you can! Though be careful when you have other mods that use JSON Assets or Quest Framework as it may cause JSON Shuffle. In addition, updating RSV from a pre-2.0 version on an existing save may cause pathing issues the first few days, a sudden influx of events you meet the conditions for and lots of random bushes, trees and debris.
So it's not entirely risk free but to my understanding the things that might occur is not game breaking. I would probably consider using the: Reset Terrain Features[www.nexusmods.com] mod as well considering the statement about random bushes, trees and debris.
Just make sure that you install everything properly and I think you will be fine. It is a very neat mod and combined with Expanded the game becomes REALLY massive I think
Edit: You can alternatively also make a copy of your mods folder WITHOUT Ridgeside Village in it, and then also a copy of your save file. These will be your back ups. Put them in a safe place and see how it all works when you install Ridgeside Village. If it for some reason doesn't work out, just delete the new save file and the mod folder with Ridgeside Village and replace everything with your back ups. Better to be safe than sorry :>
