Fruit Trees Not Producing (After Years)
I know that the trees are seasonal and will only produce fruit during a certain season. I planted my trees in year two, I made sure to grow them the season prior before their season but they still didnt do anything so I thought maybe I was too late. However, Im in year three, theyve been fully grown and none have borne fruit. Im not sure what to do or if something is wrong with my trees, has anyone else experienced this?

Hm, screenshots would definitely help. Are you also using any mods that might possibly affect them?

Which of these is affected ? If it's none of these then it's not a fruit tree.

I THINK it might be the tiles, I know wild grass and other obstructions will prevent the tree's products from getting better in quality over time but afaik it shouldn't also prevent them from growing entirely. Very weird problem, hope it sorts itself out somehow

So they actually NEVER produced anything? Does that happen to u on all places or just in the area u show in the pic? Is this ur first run? Did they work fine for u b4 this specific event u are telling us?

Also did u try cache check/repair?

It's your path.

This is from the wiki:

Each Fruit tree must be planted in the center of a clear 3x3 ground area in order to grow. The 3x3 area must remain clear of objects, flooring, and terrain features (including grass); otherwise the tree will not grow or mature. This 3x3 area also cannot overlap the area for another fruit tree. Thus, the nearest you can plant saplings next to each other is with two tiles between them in every direction.

That is just for growing. His trees already grew and are fully mature but do not produce.

My regular trees produce maple syrup, oak resin, and pine tar perfectly fine. I havent tried growing them else where because theyre expensive and no, they never produced anything. Yes, this is my first run.

I thought the tiles would only effect the growth of the saplings, not the production of the fruit? I made sure to place the tiles after they were fully grown and thanks ^.^ I hope so too

the eight surrounding tiles must be free of obstruction, i.e. buildings, fences other crops and trees. the trees themselves can also be planted too close together. good Luck.
