Sprinkler mods
Does anyone know of a mod that will get sprinklers working inside? I would like to grow in sheds but sprinklers don't work inside in garden pots. I play vanilla but might mod eventually, but this is one that doesn't make any sense to me why they don't work inside.

Also, are there larger garden pots that unlock eventually? So far I only have 1 square pots but I heard someone talking about a 3x3 or 5x5. Is this a thing?

I am not sure about sprinklers. But there is a nice mod for larger garden pots which become more like garden "beds". Check it out here: Raised Garden Beds[www.nexusmods.com]

I have tried it myself and it works really well :>

I recently learned the quality water-retaining soil is useful for garden pots inside. I learned this because there is a bug that it get's removed upon harvert which is meant to get fixed in the next patch or so.

its not a matter of inside or outside for the sprinklers, as example they work great in slime hutch and the greenhouse, its a design choise for the pods itself that they cant get watered by sprinklers.....

I wish I could share a photo, but when I place quality sprinklers in my shed filled with garden pots, they don't water the garden pots. That is what I am trying to do, have automated farming in my sheds

there are so many things you can do in sheds, but if you want to grow indoors, you can use the highest quality water-retaining fertilizer in the pots, and use only regrowing crops. That way you only need to water at the beginning and will get continuous crops.

If you really want more growing room for crops, then I suggest Elle's Spacious Greenhouse, which give a large plot and a large separate room just for trees.

What Stardustfire meant is that the problem isn't that they're indoors; sprinklers don't work on garden pots at all.

This mod is pretty old, so some features may not work, but I've read that it still allows sprinklers to be used with garden pots: https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2209

Thanks guys I really appreciate the advice!
I am growing strawberries indoors so I think the retaining soil idea might work the best for what I am trying to do.
Do you have any suggestions for regrowing crops that are more profitable than Strawberries? Those are by far the most profitable that I have found. Coffee beans regrow more quickly but sell for significantly less as far as I can tell.

This calculator is handy for comparing profits: https://thorinair.github.io/Stardew-Profits/

Offhand, I know that hops are the most profitable by far if you can manage to process all of them into Pale Ale. If you don't want to do that much processing, I believe cranberries are a little more profitable than strawberries.

I use better garden pots myself. I don't know about the other stuff it does. But can confirm that sprinklers do work. I'm using it to grow strawberries too so I can mulch them to seeds for a big spring year 2 crop.
