Offline player chest of drawers?

Hey guys! I tried to do some searching for this problem but everything I found says there should be a chest of drawers in the players house where I can access their inventory but when I go into the cabin there is no chest there. Has it been moved or removed in an update since then? The trouble is that my friend swapped to a different account and wants his items from his first character. He cannot login as his old character anymore and I thought that as host I could recover his stuff and put it in a box for him. Please assist! We are so confused and the only posts we can find with info are from years ago =/

That's from a previous version. The new update does not have that outside access to another player's dresser/inventory.

Bummer! So there is no way for him to get his upgraded tools without access to his old account?

Figured it out! In the mayors house is a lost and found box you can access offline player inventory there.

but players cant transfer items from one account to another, or even to a new save file on the same account. Other wise I would have started my new farm with the $7,000,000. I earned in my last farm.

I'm hosting he's playing as a farm hand, we were just trying to get his upgraded tools and stuff moved over :) we got it worked out once I found the bin in the mayors house
