i can't pass the mermaid puzzle on the ginger island nothing will work can someone help

you have to put a note box on each of the stones, and check the wiki for the way to set the notes to please the mermaid.
If you make a mistake with the number of times to set each note block, the easiest way to start over is to pick up the note boxes.
took me a few tries to get it right.

Best to look up a YouTube video explaining how to do it, then. Either you're doing it wrong, or your game is broken. I hope you're just doing it wrong, because there's no advice we could give to fix your game if it's broken.

if you have the note for it, it shoud be clear how many times you must click each when you look at the stones.

it is a bit confusing, but when you first put the music block down, it is on note 1;' so if the code says note 5, you only need to tap it 4 times to get to note 5, 6 times for note 7, etc.

It maybe you are hitting them too many times.

must be because your mods than soaring, because in my vanilla game i dont got it that way.
