saving time?!
only reason i don't play anymore is: time is going by - even when i do nothing.
i know thats how time is supposed to work...
how about time is only passing if you move or do some actions?
so you have plenty of time to plan or chill?!
what do you think?

time pauses when you open your inventory or any chest. So if you are doing nothing, just hit E.
there are mods that give you the ability to control/pause time as well.

Planning your time and being resticed is part of the gaming mechanic - same goes fo this genre. If time only passes if you do activities then you can just fart around each day with no end. This imbalances the game, allowing you to breeze by. This will result in people getting their stuff to early and too fast.

Picking up forage and running around is also part of the gameplay, in case someone questions my "imbalance" take. Forage=resource or money

Running around and talking to people is also gameplay. Again it's about prioritizing what you want to do. Running around the maps and talking to people takes time. That time can be spend fishing or going to the mines.

You can install mods that slow down time. I use the mod "TimeSpeed" and you can go into the config and manually set the times that you want. I doubled everything. Oh and you can press buttons to change the time on the fly along with pausing time if you want.

You can also install CBJ cheats and use that too. I use both.
