Why, after so many updates, does the cellar still look ugly and unfinished after you pay 100k gold for it to be NEWLY installed? Holes in the floor and walls and mushrooms growing in it? I just want a nice looking cellar without needing mods.

Shouldn't need mods. It's a new cellar install. It hasn't had time to become dilapidated and mushroomy. Robin does crap work.

Robin is the only one doing any maintenance around town, she doesn't have time for fit and finish.

and keep in mind its an old cabin you inherited from Grandpa, and the cellar is actually really old anyway, Robin just opens it up for you and builds the stairway.,,,, and upgrades the cellar ceiling beams.
You are free to renovate with mods as much as you want.

so what you do is find a mod with the basement you want, and then install it.
then ask Robin to build your cellar, and she will make the one for the mod you picked, same price, no hassle .

I had her build a huge warehouse instead of a little shed.
My house is huge with a super long kids room.
My greenhouse is 4x the normal size.
Robin built them all.

well you have to decide what kind of design you want, and make sure she has the right blueprints ( ie: mods installed).
She works without supervision and doesn't charge extra for the extended buildings.

hey, its an old cabin with an old cellar that you inherited for free. She fills it with casks (for free) for you so you can age wine and make LOTS of money, The cellar will pay for itself in no time if you know what to do with it. If you don;t like the looks, you are free to renovate with mods.

Complaining here will get you nowhere.

It's an old cabin you get from your grandpa, not her. She doesn't do substandard work anywhere else, why there? Low funds aren't the issue. 100k is a drop in the bucket, it's just poor performance on her part.

I'm not actually complaining, I'm being tongue in cheek.
