Updated now it won't open

I go to play stardew valley, find out there's a small update so I updated my game, now every time I try to open it it closes almost immediately, anyone else experiencing this? I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it already but nothing has changed

I don't know what the problem was for me but I actually got a new PC (not just to play Stardew). It's working fine now.

I don't have mods(I'm on mac beta, you can't mod it), it's fixed now with the most recent update

my problem is fixed now. i think the new update fixed it. if its still happening you might just have to wait like i did for a new update to patch it :( good luck!

Yes, on windows10, no mods. Ever since 2 updates ago the game will start only after I reboot my computer several times. Sometimes that doesn't work and I give up after about a half-hour. I've tried the solutions listed on the forum.

with the new 1,5,5 + version of the game you need to install dotnet 5.0 for the game to run.
make sure you have the right version of dotnet for your system. and make sure you run the INSTALL, not just downloading. (I had the wrong website first time I tried to get it). Here's the right sight.
