is the catalog worth saving up for?

every time im in a shop or at a festival or something i get so tempted to buy cute decorations and flooring/wallpaper but i keep passing on most of it figuring i'll save up and try to get the catalog to just have access to it all especially since purchased floors/walls are single use but damn it do be tempting and the catalog is so expensive (at least for someone only on summer of year 1 )

Unless you do a ton of decorating, you probably won't get your money's worth out of either the Catalogue or the Furniture Catalogue. But their real value is in the convenience of being able to redecorate at will and try different looks without wasting time or money. I think they're generally worth picking up eventually (especially the wallpaper/flooring Catalog that Pierre sells, as 30k isn't much money later on), but I wouldn't buy them until their cost becomes fairly negligible because they don't help with productivity or income like most other large purchases do.

Btw, there's quite a number of items that aren't included in the Furniture Catalogue, including some festival items. im in year 2 and had extra money so i bought it, its pretty cool it has tons of floors/walls and everything in it is free/unlimited but for what it is it's a bit overpriced. You'll only need one floor/wall per room so if you see something you like just buy a few of them for later and skip the catalog. The only real worth you get out of buying it is being able to experiment without restriction. I'd say it was worth buying tho because i love mixing and matching to find what looks nice and the catalog makes that so much easier. It's no priority purchase tho

The catalog for both wall, floor and furntiture are must haves for me :D I love decorating but if you don't care much about it then you might be happy with the stuff you can aquire without spending 230.000g :>

Yeah. Those are just for decorations. They will delay your powerspike to make big money. But I don't see why players wouldn't buy the items if they enjoy setting up a nice-looking and cozy abode. I always feel like they are for latter year when the players save enough to spend as much as they want.
