Update
Does the new upadte break my mods?
I'm so worried that i wont be able to play with hem :c

Some mods will work - ie cheat menu, cuter outfits, more dialogue options. But any that rely on the toolkit at the moment are dead in the water until they update it to work with this. I tried modding it on the 2nd and dead mods stem to that.
Stardew Valley Expanded works just fine. If you had read my post at the top of the previous page you would have catched that there are unofficial updates for both TMXL and PyTK that works perfectly fine. That is what we got until they are officially updated :>

That's strange. See, I have those exact patches and it hasn't worked for me. I assumed because the post was 18th of September and for a "beta" version on the update, that must've been why it didn't work - I merely thought he must've changed the official update code slightly from the beta one so the patch no longer worked.

I get the "Skipped mods - seasonal cute characters SVE 2.2.1 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedALL, Flashshifter.StardewValleyExpandedCP)." error and there's no trace of Stardew Valley Extended within the game when I start a save. When I looked into it, people essentially said it was because SVE wasn't installed. Since it's a simple zip file into /mods, I assumed it was the toolkit patch/error from earlier in my troubleshooting.

Something must have gone wrong when you attempted to install it then because I am playing with it just fine as we speak ô.ô Currently in fall during my first year.

How weirdo, lol! Ignore me then, OP. I'll go back to a fresh install and go slow with the mod adding. Hopefully I've just messed up someone small.

Make sure to add every folder (there are quite a few). I know one time I accidentally threw one into the trash bin and I got a similar error in the smapi console and it was because I was missing the one I trashed. If you download and manage a lot of mods at the same time that could happen sometimes :>

I swapped out PyTK and TMXL as advised, to no avail. No dice on getting the game running again. *sigh*

That's a good idea when installing such mods. Sometimes the mod author specifically mentions that the old versions need to be purged from your Mod folder for the newest version to work properly (residue files that aren't needed, config files aren't properly overwritten)

i have over 100 mods, and everything is working just fine for me, I followed the directions, and updated all the required mods, and everything works just fine.
Don't know what everyone is complaining about..... SVE, RV all work fine,

Nope. I had the out of memory error lots of times BEFORE updating to 64 bit.

Same here. Especially when combining expansion mods :> But no more of that crap :D

Uninstall it, re-boot your PC and then reinstall it. For some users that helped.

When I first installed the .net 5, I was on the wrong web site, and installed the wrong thing,
I had to get my son to show me the right one. That may be causing problems for some people , getting the wrong install.
