RICH FARM SUCCESS AND PROGRESS
With such interest shown in Snowy's poverty run, and at his suggestion, I decide to create a discussion on my RICH FARM run, seeing how much could be accomplished during the early years of a LARGE and WEALTHY farm.

This wont be a day to day post, as I've already finished the first year, but rather on how and what I accomplished and all the mods that I found compatible, and some that didn't work.

To begin with, I spent a few months testing out over 100 mods, finding those I liked, and those that I didn't like, switching out ones that created errors or game crashing, and figuring which ones worked best together.
I finally had so many mods that my game wouldn't save due to memory shortage, and I at last was forced to switch to the new BETA versions of almost everything. This meant a lot more errors popping up, and I became well acquainted with the SMAPI PARS LOG, I have updated, and updated more time then I can count.

I must make very clear, I am NOT a coding expert and have no idea how to make mods myself, so its been a learn as I go progress.

Once I had tested out everything, and had almost everything working the way I wanted, I created a brand new farm on the largest map I could set up: SVE IMMERSIVE FARM REMASTERED.
My world map also includes: RIDGESIDE VALLEY, GRAMPLETON FIELDS, and DEEP WOODS, as well at the AQUARIUM mod. This gives me lots of room to explore.

For the farm house, I kept the original size, but added to the cellar with POOKACHUS CELLAR, which gives 4 large rooms to fill with casks how ever you like. For the outside looks, I went with ELLE'S SEASONAL BUIDINGS, which gives you a choice of several looks for all your buildings,, and you can customize each differently or make them all look the same. I painted all my farm buildings with the same color scheme.

I like a lot of ELLE'S mods, as they are well designed, uncluttered and compatible with just about every thing else.
Which is why I went with ELLIE'S SPACIOUS IDEAL GREENHOUSE, which not only increases your planting room X4, but has a second room dedicated to trees with room for 48 trees. AWESOME, fruit all year long. A great place to make full use of BONSTER'S TREES, FRUITS & VEGGIES.

To get around this big new farm/world of mine, I definitely needed the TRACTOR mod and ELLE'S NEW HORSES, so I could ride my UNICORN.

Well that's the basic layout to start the farm, but of course there are lots of smaller detail mods included, Will go into more later.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions about any of the mods I mention. I will also post lots of pictures so you can see the results.

The nursery is full. You can have multiple babies in each crip.

I am no longer using the ChildtoNPC mod or the Farmers Children mod, and I don't recommend them unless they are fully updated. When I suggested some updates, the mod creator said it couldn't be done, and banned me from seeing his nexus page. lol.
Fortunately the Unique Children creator was smarter and did a WONDERFUL job updating his mod for me ,and everyone to enjoy.

Really? o.o That's incredibly immature, blocking you just because you asked for an update. I have noticed that a few authors seems to be very sensitive to suggestions and constructive criticism, which makes me think that they would probably be better off not sharing in the first place @.@ Love the nursery by the way :> Those babies are so darn cute! And one even has pink hair :sootling:

thanks, glad you like the nursery. I was able to make Sofia one of the parents even though I never married her, just to get the pink hair.

Wow, that was a weird response from him.

I could see saying "sorry, don't have time now, but I'll take this under advisement for when I do".

But blocking you from the page? Like ChrillBill said, that seems surprisingly immature.

Yes, especially since the other modder did everything I ask for in only 2 days.

I finally decided what to do with the main floor of Grandpa's shed. Hope you like my idea.

One corner of my warehouse now includes Ice Cream and sorbet machines, lots of delicious deserts. As well some of my wife's are great cooks, and they need something to do all day.
Since Grandpa's shed is the closest farm building to town and right across from the bus stop, its the perfect location for a community ICE CREAM PARLOR. The tables are ready and loaded with yummy deserts.
Come and Enjoy.

I love that idea :D Looks very pretty (and delish). I hardly ever use the main floor in Grandpas shed for wine nowadays and on my current playthrough it is still empty cause I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with it. This is inspiring :>

Nice!

I'd probably have gone with an Italian style restaurant, but an Ice Cream parlor does fit the small town theme pretty well.

Glad you like it. Since you can't change the walls or flooring in the room, the rugs fit nicely. and the contrasting white & red tables, make the bowls of ice cream stand out more.
Bill, if you do an Italian theme room, I'd love to see pictures.

Successful summer on Rich Farm,
The bees have been busy and produced a large harvest of Raffilan Honey, which is very valuable.
And the Faberge production has also be top notch, and profitable.
The warehouse production of various products and wines has been great as well.
Little did my 11 spouses realize that I married them all for extra cheap labour in the warehouse. lol.
The 10 kids are growing,, and most are out of the cribs and in their own beds. Time to expand the kids room for the next batch of babies.
Money in the bank at end of summer $37 Million.

Midnight on the 28 of summer, time for bed before the start of fall.

Very cosy screenie :> Still waiting on some giants crops I see. Are you using the Farmer Made Easy Suite mod? With that mod you can grow all crops during all seasons except for winter. That helps when you are waiting for some of those gorgeous giants :heart_eyes_yeti:
Queen Droxxanna Dec 26, 2021 @ 9:44am
I'm using the Crops anywhere anytime mod, which allows me to plant and grow crops and trees all over town, and all year long. My trees produce fruit every day, even in winter. As you can see here.

Right, I already gave that pic a thumbs up but didn't even realize it was winter xD I know about that mod :> But I didn't want to use it since I don't like having crops during winter, except in the greenhouse/s :D
Queen Droxxanna Dec 26, 2021 @ 10:08am
well I pay my Juminos, so they don't get the winter off. lol. And we ship fresh fruit all year long too. I have about 80 trees planted along the road going to Gramplton fields too, I just run the tractor thru there every three days. I have more fruit then I could ever turn into wine or juice.
