Good weapon before Galaxy Sword?

I'm playing with remixed chest rewards so I didnt get Obsidian Edge. The best one I have is the Bone Sword with 20-30 damage. Is there a good way to farm a better weapon? The ones from the Adventurer Guild are too expensive imo.

in my opinion the bone sword is a really good weapon until you get the galaxy sword idk a way to farm for another weapon but i think the bone sword is the best you can get without buying one or the galaxy sword

Yea I've honestly stuck with Bone Sword over Obsidion Edge because speed anyways and its gotten me to the bottom no prob

I was more thinking about the Skull Cavern. I already did the Mines.

probably the obsidian sword due to how fast it can be.

You can farm for a Dark Sword in the Quarry Mine - it's a drop from the Haunted Skulls. It's vampiric, so it sometimes heals you, but it's also very slow. I used one for awhile, but the speed was kinda frustrating.

Lava Katana from the adventurer's guild, that's the best one you can get before galaxy sword, but it'll cost you a pretty penny, thoug!

Nevermind all that I guess, a green slime from the Secret Woods just dropped me a Prismatic Shard on Summer 12 🤣
