First of all, sorry for the low quality picture but I took it off an example farm. I am wondering how I can get the wood type of flooring on the ground like shown?

That's Wood Path, a type of flooring tile that's available to craft from the beginning of the game.

I meant the wood below the wood path, like darker type of platform where the chest and mayonnaise machine is

There are two type of floors there :> "Weathered Floor" and "Straw Floor".
The recipe for the "Straw Floor" can be bought at Robins and the "Weathered Floor"
recipe can be bought from the dwarf in the mines

Actually you only mentioned a few flooring types. Robin sells 8 different flooring recipes, and Joja and Pierre sells 56 types of flooring. The Dwarf and Krobus each sell only one flooring.
what I said is some(most) can only be used inside. While some (the paths) can also be use outside.

OP asked about a specific type of flooring, not flooring in general, and they had been thoroughly answered before you even commented. Practically all you do here anymore is make incorrect or irrelevant comments in help threads and then fight with people about it.
