crows

i just wanted to know if there was a way other than scarecrows to keep crows away. I just find it annoying having to place them everywhere. does anyone know if there's a better way? thanks

Greenhouse, indoor pots or scarecrows.

Once you gain access to the island farm, you can plant crops without the threat of crows.

the range on scarecrows is actally quite big

OP, if you are into modding then I recommend "Better Rarecrows" on Nexusmods.com to you.

The mod gives an incentive to collect all rarecrows and place them wherever you want on the farm. Once they are all placed no crows will bother you anymore.

thanks for the info! i wish there was a way in the base game to permanently get rid of them, but those are all good suggestions. maybe i'll install the mod once my farm is complete. thanks!

Yes? It's the only way to keep the crows away. Except growing plants indoors.

Two suggestions: 1) Plant on Ginger Island, as there are never any crows there so no scarecrows are needed. 2) Collect all 8 Rarecrows; this will give you the crafting recipe for the Deluxe Scarecrow, which has a bigger range, therefor you won't need as many around your farm! I also like to hide them behind Junimo Huts because I don't like how they look.

... I said that to make a point specifically that there is NO other way to do it. Want no crow visits in vanilla SDV? Scarecrows are the only way.
