The "Mushroom Level" is a thing.
It spawns on a random level (in the 80-120 zone) and moves up by one every day. If you wait until it's on a level that you can easily access (81, for example), you can grab every mushroom on the level, exit and come back immediately for another floor full of mushrooms.
Potentially, you can make tens of thousands of gold in a day.
I forget which floor it is, but one of them is the magic number - the floor is on like 91 or 101, so you just re-take the elevator to 90 or 100 then go down the ladder. It's less money if it's on floor 86 or 96, because if you take the elevator to 85 or 95, you have to smash rocks to find a ladder.
But yeah, one of the maps is hands down the best for mushroom farming, due to how quickly you can navigate it and loop back to the exit.
Thanks, I did something almost exactly like this. 3 rows of 9 sprinklers spaced out.
But I made a mistake in not setting enough taps on oak trees to make kegs, and I'm way behind on kegs, but selling the hops without processing gets me around 5k/day. And I also got a crop of 72 blueberries (9 sprinklers) and 56 melons (7 sprinklers). Not farming sap has set me way back on pale ale production though. And I'm debating stockpiling some hops for later seasons to stuff into kegs and keep pumping out pale ale year round.
Anyone planning on setting up pale ale should have at least 10+ oak trees tapped before summer, or during the early days of summer that way they're prepared to push out at least 30+ kegs the moment hops start producing, and try to fill at least 1 barn full of kegs by the end of summer.
I went freaking nuts with lightning rods during summer and placed like 20 of them, and I had 2 storms in a 4 day window, and already got like 40 battery packs.
Yeah, I ran into a patch at floor 81, unfortumately, it was already 10:30am by the time I started, but I still made like 35k between 10:30am to 12:00am. That was with the double foraging chance.
