New game, problem with oven

I started a brand new game with the new update, I just got my first house upgrade which includes the kitchen. The fridge seems to be working ok but when I try to click on the oven I get this message... "A kitchen appliance is currently in use, please try again later", together with a continuous beeping noise. This continues over the the course of the day, and is still the same the following day. The only way to reset this is to log off and restart the game. Any ideas as to what is happening?

Suggest you verify your local files. Right click on the game in your list, select properties and then the local tab. That's the first step most people try before they do anything else ( a bit like switching your pc off and back on again).

Thanks, local files were successfully validated. It's most likely something to do with one of the mods so I'll need to go through all those with machines I guess.

Well, this is interesting... I'll include my findings for folks who might want the info. The problem lay with the Mod "Bonster's" which includes Recipes, Advanced Recipes, Fruit & Veggies, Trees. It's the 2.0 Version. The previous version may still work but I'll have to go back into my old computer files to find that. I'm not experienced enough with Mods to work out why the 2.0 Version is messing up the oven.

Nope, the original Bonster's Mod is not happy either! Ah well, such is life, I'll have to play without it. So... I've got 88 mods on the 1.4.3, it's a ridiculous amount but makes a great game *laughs*

maybe it's not updated for 1.4.3 but for 1.4.1... It can take sometimes to updates and adjust. ;D
