Can't find planted sapling

Anyone know of a mod that could help me find a sapling that I apparently planted?
Every morning I get a msg that my peach tree could not grow. I only have one each fruit tree in my greenhouse and they are all fully grown with three fruit on all of them (Backlog on processessing, so I am leaving them on for now). So, I apparently planted a peach sapling SOMEWHERE and have no idea where so I can go remove the debris around it or chop it down. TIA

You can take screenshots of the whole farm in settings. Maybe it'll be easier to find that way?

I did a little digging and found an unofficial 1.5 patch for a mod that allows fruit trees to grow without the cleared 3x3 space requirement. Even if you don't necessarily want to keep the mod active, you could at least use it to allow the tree to grow so it's easier to find. https://forums.stardewvalley.net/threads/unofficial-mod-updates.2096/page-27#post-23834

Might be a dumb question, but did you check Ginger Island, if you have it unlocked?

Alternatively - is this a VERY old save file? Version 1.0 and maybe 1.1 let you plant fruit trees around town, but this was eventually removed... presumably so players didn't complain when Vincent obliterates a massive tree by walking into it, costing the farmer lots of money. But we can't decorate the town as well :[

Not a dumb question, I will pop over and double check. Also, I did not start playing until after 1.5 was out, so this would not be an old save file. But, now that you mention it, I will pass that info to my kid who has played that long, in case he runs into a similar issue. TYTY you guys have been great!
