Can you play on mobile with steam?

I’ve heard somewhere that you can play stardew valley on your phone by streaming it from steam. Does that mean that I don’t have to buy it from app store to play when I’m away from home or do I just have to pay? I don’t care about my saved game files because I want to start a new game anyway.

Yup using Remote Play, you must install Steam Link at app store (I installed it at Playstore). So the requirements to play it as I know is your PC must open Steam and both your PC and mobile device have a network.

After u installed Steam Link on your mobile device, open those application, choose "Touch Device", and choose which PC you want to connect with. After that u can start to play Stardew Valley as long as your PC is online.

I don't know if it can be play away from home, because I only try it in my home (I mean play it on another room of my house). I think it is possible after you connected your mobile device to your PC.

PS: Oh if you miss something or my step is not too accurate, I'm sorry, because I don't use it anymore. I don't like the control. And I just tell u what I remember.

Hi, i had the same question, and now that u've tried it, can you tell me if you can actually play stardew valley without having your PC running, can u play remotely with your PC turned off?

Remote play don't work on turned off PC.. to be accurate, don't work on PC without internet connections.. if you turned it off, or you don't have a PC, you can't remote play..

Remote play, assume it like TeamViewer, you control your PC using another device (which is your smartphone), but specified more to playing games.. and it's quite smooth if you get great internet connections..

Steam link is a form of cloud gaming - your phone isn't actually running the game. The game runs on your PC and the phone is just connecting to it. If your PC is turned off, it can't run the game, so steam link doesn't work.

Can Steam mobile Sv and Steam laptop sv can play together with ur friends, because in my case my friends have a laptop but me I'm using only Mobile Phones
