I would recommend just using a mod to spawn items/gold. It's simpler and doesn't require someone to help you.

There are a few ways to make e.z money, u can dupe things like scarecrows, kegs, sprinklers etc. by mining themin the same time with another player. or put an item on a table and pick it up in the same time with another player. but for these 2 methods you neeed to have friends. which is rly rare these days.
There is one more method tho. Every item in stardew valley has a code. You can search the code by searching in google [Item name] code stardew valley. then you add the numbers to your player name in these way

 then every time a npc says your name you get these items. You can change your name again by getting 4 hearts with the wizard. And then going through a trapdoor in the back of his tower. There you can change your player appearnce and name for 500 gold. You can also teleport to this place by the mark on the floor in the witch hat without having 4 hearts with the wizard.
