Prismatic Shard

Hi guys.
I can’t manage to find this thing.
On the wiki they say it can be in the mines after level 100, but It seems impossible to find...
Any suggestions?
I just need one to get the sword.

Yeah, I don't use it because it's pretty much cheating, but I can definitely see how useful it would be to have it.

Oh wow this are some high levels of cheating... but then again, I'm starting to go crazy after not finding any dinosaurs to kill for the protector of the valley achievement so... thank you.

PS can be very VERY random. at my newest started farm with 1.5 i got 4 before i got my first dino egg, 2 from omni geodes, one from the chest at the forge and the last i dont know for sure anymore.

It feels really good when you manage to get one before unlocking the skull cavern. You can get the galaxy sword right away.

Btw, about finding prismatic shards in the mines...
While you're making your way to the bottom, enemies can drop various things, most of which are specific to each one. A prismatic shard is not counted among these things. Initially. After you reach the bottom of the mines, all monsters, regardless of the level you are currently in, can drop prismatic shard. It's a pretty small chance though, and frankly not to be counted upon.

Mystic stones can spawn in the quarry, can they not? They're rare, but actually have a good chance to drop a prismatic shard. Actually they're the only rock that can other than the iridium node, so either your quarry somehow evolved or you got lucky with mystic stones.

Just a quick note, I play on iPad, so it is the iOS version, I can't use mods or other things.
I tried the pc version but I don't like the zoom, it is too zoomed in. On iPad you can zoom out to see all the area you are in.

You can go into options on PC and set the Zoom level from there too or enable / disable the Zoom buttons.

Huh... I know the PC version only allows you to zoom back down to 75%, but I didn't know you could zoom even further away on the iPad.

It's extremely unusual for a tablet to be able to do something that a PC can't.

I purchased it first on the iPad, then I thought to buy it on pc but when I tried I immediately demanded a refund. On the ipad you don't need to constantly tell him where to go, you zoom out, you touch the place even on the other side of the area and he goes... it is also useful in the mines because you can immediately see if there are stairs, valuable ores etc.
if you are used to it on ipad it becomes unplayable on the pc...

I don't know. it is a touch thing, you just pinch in and zoom out. you can zoom out to a point that the actual area is a square in the middle of the screen surrounded by black bars!
it is maybe something like 10%...I don't know...
