It's already a super bad enchant, it would be terrible if also prevented you from getting Perfects and made you lose most of your chances of finding treasure.
it could be made so you can compensate with the quality bobber to get back to max quality on your fishes, as if you hooked them with a perfect.
as far as treasures go, it depends what youre looking for. sometimes you just want a bunch of fish for cooking for example. the quality doesnt matter in that case, since cooking recipes dont benefit from it.
you just want to hook a lot of fish, and fast. for that purpose the enchantment would be great if it skipped the mini game.
You'd still miss out on treasure, though. But I suppose, if you're at a point in the game where you have enchanted your Rod and don't care that the enchant is terrible, you might not care about treasure either.
Time stops during the minigame, so it would only save you real-world time, not in-game time. But I suppose, if you're intending to catch 50 fish in a day, that's somewhat time-consuming. In this case though it would be a convenience upgrade with no real in-game benefit. Then again, it already is...
Best forget about it entirely. You're probably going to want Master instead.
