Ice Pip is harder than any fish in the game change my mind

I am not sure. I have done SO MUCH fishing in this game and at this point I am very used to all their patterns and "tricks". But I still think the Lava Eel can be a sucker sometimes. Not to mention the Void Eel from the expanded mod, lol. Ice Pip has never bothered me that much but I don't think it is an "easy" catch.

just got Lava Eel without anything, bouta' catch that Scorpion Carp

In my current game I have caught the lava eel, the scorpian and the ice pip already. Didn't use any fishing enhancing foods for any of them. Among those 3 I would rate the Ice pip as the easiest, then the scorpian, then the lava eel as the hardest (seemed to be same difficulty/pattern as the octopus). I got the ice pip on my first try and the scorpian I got 2 of them in one day out of 2 bites first try. The eel took me several tries though. But the Legend is really giving me trouble. Outside of pure chance I don't think I can get the Legend without using some fishing enhancing food.

got the Legend without anything, because it has mixed behaviour, it's pure rng, so i got it on my second try without any trinket and buff

Impressive. I haven't had a lot of opportunities to try for the Legend, but next rainy day I will be giving it a try using food buffs in order to enhance my odds.

Ice pip is a pain in the ass, but the scorpion carp is indeed probably worse. I have a personal grudge against the glacierfish too, but idk if it's harder.

I'm more annoyed because of its rarity. Sometimes i wait several days to get it bite once or twice just to loose it immediately on lower fishing levels. the dart movement is quite annoying, but not that much of a problem with tackles in the late game imo
