Auto pet animals mod?

Does anyone know any mods that automatically pet your animals? I know about the animal sitter but I'm looking for something less interactive.

that being said, the game already has an auto petter, so other than the possible daily chores, the OP doesnt really need that mod.

Auto-petter is a rare/expensive item, that you can't get until late game. And it just keeps your animals content - the mod will raise their friendship, instead of keeping it where you left it.

Idk if the mod works, just pointing out that the mod is better in some ways.

Luckily, I got the "Auto-Petter" in the Volcano by killing an enemy!
However it says it's not as effective as petting by yourself.

well together the auto grabber and auto petter negate each other when it comes to animal mood/friendship, so in general they dont hurt animal mood/friendship at all when paired and not actualy touched by hand at all, tho the auto petter does raise friendship but slowly, by half of what they would get normally by hand petting.

also, if you wanted to can still actually pet them even with having the auto petter and raise their mood/friendship, but you dont actually have too.

i still do, but having the auto petter means i dont have to worry or even think about if i missed petting an animal as their mood/friendship wont go down due to the combination of the 2 machines.

one thing i do like about the auto petter is, when using the auto petter and hand petting your animals you can stack the effect and raise their mood and friendship quicker than by hand petting.

The auto-petter does indeed raise the friendship with your animals, but veeery slowly. I have done some testing in my game and the wiki also confirms this.

Auto-Petters can be used with an Auto-Feeder to keep animals from losing any Friendship and slowly raise Mood; however, while they gain approximately the same Mood boost from petting, they will only gain approximately half the normal Friendship points from petting this way. Both the Mood boost and Friendship boost from the Auto-Petter stack with regular pettings from the player, so the Auto-Petter can be used to reach maximum Friendship & Mood faster than normal.
