Lake Fishing

For some reason, I've been having much more trouble fishing at the lake near Marnie's ranch than anywhere else? In other spots, I've managed to catch tons of fish but can't catch a single one from the lake!! I don't know if it's actually any harder or if I just need a bit of extra practice with the rod. Has anybody else had this same problem or just me??

The pond? It has a smaller list of fish that can appear in it, but they're standard fish (like you'd find in regular rivers or from the mountain lake) and aren't any harder to catch than usual.

To my knowledge you can only catch smallmouth bass in that lake. And they are not very hard to catch at all.

there are some challenging fishes in the lake, dorado, tiger trout, lingcod, pike, catfish depending on the season and time. You might have been hooking those, if you have an iridium and trap boober it shouldn't be much trouble. If you don't, fiberglass will do with some fishing food. If you have neither, don't try yet.
