What now after 4 candles lit? / Granpda 4 candles
I got all 4 candles lit, after first getting all 3 lit only a few in game seasons ago. About two. (this is just me bragging ig)
But my real question is, now what? I thought you get a reward or something for four candles lit?
And you somehow get this? (Nvm, got it by clicking his shrine. But is there anything else I get? And how do I use it?)

You place it and it will rpoduce..

Nothing else to get from shrine/grandpa evaluation.

No, all you get is the statue which by that point is pretty much just a bit of added money.

Both are strong claims becuase I dont know what real data support it, however as someone who play the game some time I am pretty sur emore than able have all tools upgraded prior y2 winter.

That can't be right.

Takes only 5 bars to upgrade a tool and you've got two years before the evaluation comes around. Let's say you're a little slow because it's your first playthrough, and you take a whole year to unlock the Calico Desert, you'd still have a whole year to farm Iridium. Even if you sucked real hard and could only get Iridium by farming Slimes in the first few floors and only got 4 Iridium Ore per day, a single week would get you enough bars for one tool. And you've got 16 weeks.

By the time you get the statue, you don't need Iridium anymore.

Why would anyone skip a day? It's a video game, if they don't want to play it they would just close it down and do something else. There's always so much to do, people are generally complaining there isn't enough time in a day. They wouldn't just throw a day away.

Even if you skipped a day out of seven, you'd still be able to get way more Iridium than you need long before the evaluation...

Exactly my thoughts.

Days are sooo short already (unless modded out) so it sounds crazy why woudl someone skip day ever - maybe at end game where you have no point in doing lot of things but until that is is super counter-intuitive and counter-productive. Doubt msot peoaplw aste time like this.

I do skip days sometimes both early and late game and have never felt days are too short. I don't see it as a waste at all seeing how I am not in rush for anything.

There are a lot of people complaining that days are way too short and they never have the time to do everything they want to do.

Seasons do come back around, however there are things that if you don't do within a certain time period you'll have to wait another 3 months before you can do it again. Additionally villagers lose relationship over time so if you skip days regularly you'll have to work harder to max them.

You would definitely be in the minority here.

Used to being part of a minority already so I couldn't care less about that. I haven't seen many complaints about days being too short myself but I'm sure they exist. But that's not my experience and I do enjoy working very hard for things in this game and if I miss something it's not the end of the playthrough since I basically have all the time that I could possibly ask for ^.^
