Auto Attack/Pickax Key?

Hi guys, I'm playing Stardew for the first time since like 2019 and I could have sworn that last time I played there was a hot key you could hold down and your character would auto target something (both for attacking and pick axing). I can't find anything about that now either in discussions online, in the options, or in mods. Did I imagine this? I know Don't Starve has that option and now I'm beginning to think I'm mixing the two games up but being able to do this in the mine still feels familiar.

Can anyone confirm or deny that this is or was possible in the game?

You can hold down left-click to keep swinging your axe and pickaxe? Not for combat though. Maybe on Mobile?

Did you play it on mobile? That version has the feature, but none of the other game versions do.
