Likewise, the quarry and ore panning could use some buffs... but the developer hasn't changed them, so I suppose he's happy with how they work.
Energy is a virtually useless concept past the first berry season anyway.
"That's the women's locker room... you can't go in there!"
"That's... okay, whatever."
Now this I definitely agree with. Putting the spa itself in an out-of-the-way location is one thing, but the running around the interior and then being forced to walk through the dressing room is nothing more than a purposeful inconvenience to the player.
Too little return for too much time lost.
So it depends how you want to play, and in a game like this, I like having options instead of there being one way to play, and I also don't worry about what is the "correct", aka, most efficient method of playing. It's fun to experiment and see what works for you.
That said, I can't see much value to it long term. It really does become a joke as time goes on, no matter your playstyle. I'm only in year 2 on my current save and I would struggle to run out of energy in a single day--I'd have to do nothing but pick every single rock on every single level as I went through the mine. The game in general does often seem like it's too deep for how wide it is; so much in it but there's not enough "game" to leverage it all.
